Pitching yeast for carb necessary in brett beer?
Does anyone have thoughts on the need to add additional bottling yeast if there is brett in the beer? I just took a sample of a saison that had added brett in secondary roughly six months ago. This beer is crystal clear, like sterile filtered clear, which concerned me a little bit and had me wondering if pitching additional yeast is a good idea to carb up.

I do and I don't pitch new yeast. It depends on how long, at six months it certainly wouldn't hurt. Whats a little effort at this point versus the effort you'd have to put into trying to get it to carb up later if there's not enough yeast?
