Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

Brewers Publications and American Sours!
After more than two years of writing, I just signed a contract for Brewers Publications to publish my book about American sour beers (most likely in 2015)! I wanted to thank BBB’ers for all of the knowledge and passion they’ve shared over the seven years I’ve been visiting. I’ve got several mentions of Brett swaps, and information shared on this board in the book. Hopefully they’ll be some interesting nuggets for even the most experienced members.

My blog has a draft table of contents (comments appreciated), a list of the people I’ve talked to already, and more details: http://www.themadfermentationist.com/2013/04/my-book-has-publisher.html

Far out! I don't suppose a transcript of the brett swap we did with Tomme Arthur would help?

Just a quick update. My manuscript was sent to the Technical Editor (Jennifer Talley at Russian River) yesterday. Currently the goal is for it to be out early spring next year.

Pre-order is available: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1938469119/ref=ox_ya_os_product

Forewarning though, the cover is a stand-in and the release date is listed 6 weeks too early. BBB gets a brief mention in there (or it does as of now, but there’s a bit of cutting still going on…)

Release is less than a month away. The cover is final http://www.themadfermentationist.com/2014/05/american-sour-beers-foreward-and-cover.html (featuring a shot of new Belgium La Folie) and Vinnie Cilurzo wrote the forward.

Got my journalist's review copy from Brewers Publications, and it looks simply spectacular. Hope this means they got a shipment to the National Home Brewers Conference. Am about to go off the grid camping, and will read and savor the book then before being able to say or ask more. Kudos, Mike T.

Re: Brewers Publications and American Sours!
Cheers! Yep, 500 copies made it to NHC and all were sold! Great response to the presentation (The Influence of the Mash on Sour Beer Production) too, looked like most people in the audience raised their hands when I asked who'd brewed a sour. Chop & Brew recorded it, so it should be available in a couple weeks.

Thanks to everyone who posted here, lots of great discussion, links, support!

If anyone catches any errors, please let me know. The ebook will get any minor corrections before it is released this fall.
