Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

Wyeast 3463 Forbidden Fruit
I'm amazed what I find in the back of my fidge. What suggestions do you have for this yeast and has anyone used it for a "normal" ale not a wheat based beer?

Yep it is a great yeast that delivers spicy fruity esters. I use it for Gran Cru's and just about anything Belgian. Love it!

Split a Belgian Dark Strong and fermented half with this yeast at the recommendation of the guy at my LHBS...GREAT results! (the other half got Ardennes yeast...good, but not as good as this). Great fruity aroma and taste very nice 'Belgian' character.

Brewed a BPA, 100% pils, to 1.060. Bittered to 45 ibus, with columbus, cascade hopstand and cascade dryhops...delicious!
