Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

I just really like the work levifunk is doing!

I haven't received my scoresheets yet either but since I was the Judge Coordinator for the Old West Region I know that my Baltic Porter took 2nd and will be going to Oakland as well.

I will be there to judge beers (and enjoy the convention) so maybe I will get to taste yuor Berliner.

Congrats Scott. I was really looking forward to going to the conference this year since it's semi close to home. But unfortunately I'm not going to make it. Maybe next year.

My Baltic Porter is heading to finals from the SW!

Stoked to have a beer going to the next level. My Quad fell short though. That was the one I expected to do well!!

See you in Oakland.

Good goin' all!

Got a first for a Dark mild. The second bottling of Grand Funk fell short - must of been a tad young.

Re: NHC First round results
bstill I am going to do my first lambic soon and I was wondering if you could give me some pointers? It seems you have a good method if you were able to place first.

Re: NHC First round results
thanks b

Quite the sour-fest. Good job w/ the lambic.......I just added some pink muscat grapes to a batch of lambic ~ 4 lbs/gal. The grapes were like fruity roses, just amazing.

Re: NHC First round results
Fruity roses, nice. Great job on the mild Al, a truely sensational beer. And to everyone else. My cider went nowhere.

Re: NHC First round results
Well, stupid me. I found out the second bottling of Grand Funk I did turned out to be gushers. Musta screwed up the priming - ah well. I'll pay attention next time (maybe my bugfarm brew will square off w/ the winners next year!) ;D

Re: NHC First round results

Seriosuly though, they'll send you a package that has your ribbons as well as directions for your second roound entries. Within the next week or two I'd think.
