Piere Zuber. R.I.P.

It is with much sadness that I have to report the passing of that charismatic ambassador of Belgian beer, Pierre Zuber, who succumbed to his long fight, on Sunday last.
Many of you who visited Brussels in the past few years will have met Pierre at Délices & Caprices which called itself: “The Belgian Beer Tasting Shop in the heart of Brussels.”
He was always welcoming and had an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the product, especially the bottle had had in stock at the time.

His passing is a sad loss to the Belgian beer scene and his smile and laugh will be much missed. Brussels will be a duller place without him.

My commiserations go to his wife Ann and his daughter who he has left behind.

A sad day indeed.
